Water filtration in Redmond, WA.

Whole-home carbon filtration, softening and RO drinking water for Redmond homes, installed starting at $3,500. Transparent, all-in pricing quoted before any work starts.

Redmond runs two water systems in one city. Homes west of Lake Sammamish and the Sammamish River, along with Redmond Ridge and Trilogy, get Tolt River water from the Cascades. Homes east of the lake and river get groundwater from city wells, and Tolt water may be blended in when demand is high.

The city aquifer lies beneath Downtown Redmond and extends toward Avondale Road and Southeast Redmond. It is shallow, starting 5 to 15 feet below the surface, and supplies 35 to 40 percent of the city's water. Well water is chlorinated, and air stripping towers raise its pH from about 6.5 to between 7.5 and 7.8.

Hardness differs by side of town. The city says groundwater customers have medium-hard water, about 6 grains per gallon, while Tolt water is very soft at about 1.2. That is why we look up which system serves your address first.

What Redmond homes are dealing with

Most of this region's water is soft, so the first thing Redmond homeowners tend to notice is taste: chlorine at the kitchen tap, or water that just does not taste the way they want it to. Where a city draws on wells, what comes out of the tap can differ from the mountain supply next door.

Whatever your situation, the next step is the same: we pull the public data on your water, tell you exactly what your home needs, and install it for one all-in price.
